At Brand New Day Asia food is never far from our minds, and what could be better than a home-cooked meal in great company.

Following an invitation from Patrick we all agreed to give him the day off to get in the kitchen, and after a hard day’s work turned up with our stomach’s rumbling.

After some re-arranging of the furniture we tucked into a feast of Seafood Risotto, Crab Linguine and a Baby Spinach Salad, not to mention the Maple-syrup Oven Baked Salmon and Veggies. Yum!

Hardly room for another mouthful, we of course reneged when we were presented with Patrick’s signature Sticky Date Pudding with Hot Toffee Cardamom Sauce and Eton Mess, which we all shared with pleasure.

Sufficiently full after a lovely evening, we did offer to do the dishes, always hoping that another invitation for a home-cooked meal will soon be in the offing.
