Challenge

The Red Cup team wanted to leverage the equity associated with its classic instant coffee brand and take the opportunity to update its packaging. It also wanted to make Red Cup’s image more up to date and in line with consumers’ current selection criteria.

Solution

Brand New Day updated the front of pack to incorporate nutritional information and evolved the colour palette to be more bright and vibrant.

To cater to increasing consumer demands for fresh, wholesome, natural ingredient-based products, we integrated the red coffee cup within a setting of green plantations, coffee beans and pods (fresh from the sack) to optimise the brand story on the back of pack, not only adding colour and sophistication to a classic product, but boosting the brand in consumers’ eyes on shelf.
