Thanks to our prior success in designing TMB’s Annual Report 2012, we were once again asked to pitch for the TMB Annual Report 2013, which we won. The brief required BND to come up with a concept that not only represented TMB’s ethos of ‘Make THE Difference’, but showcased the Bank’s financial progress in a visual way.
TMB wanted to show various stakeholders that it has consistently become stronger in the marketplace, with some the highest financials achieved in its history in 2013. The bank also wanted to show the progression through a connection of the previous year’s annual report having a blueprint theme with this year’s subject of ‘building strength’ on that ‘foundation’ to become better and stronger.
Brand New Day created a concept based around the strength of metal, also a core element in the creation of building structures. This nicely linked as a progression from last year’s ‘blueprint’ to the showcasing of this year’s ‘building strength’ on a solid foundation as represented by the blueprint. The result was a set of communication materials in Thai and English including an Annual Report likened to a steely, metallic block, embossed to further communicate solidity and strength.
